Reviews Summary
Babas on Cannon is celebrated for its unique and delicious menu, especially its specialty coffees like the peanut mocha, and its charming European-style atmosphere. Diners rave about the quality of the food and drinks, as well as the friendly and efficient service, making it a beloved spot for both quick visits and leisurely enjoyment. While the experience is overwhelmingly positive, occasional long wait times and one instance of perceived unhelpful service were noted.
"Babas, both Cannon and Meeting, are hands down at the top of my list whether I am slammed in work mode and need something I can grab super quick thats actually delicious AND healthy, or I am in leisure mode and want a beautiful, welcoming space to enjoy delicious sips and bites with great customer service. I am proud to be a Babas regular and would honestly kind of be lost without them. And their cookies. And their house made peanut milk. And their amazing salads, because it is surprisingly difficult to find a damn good salad. Babas! For the people! Thanks guys!"

"The coffee here was amazing! I keep thinking about it, I am obsessed with the peanut mocha I got. I also had their breakfast burrito which was a good size. My friend also got their honey latte and it was perfectly sweet and made with local honey. Everyone was really sweet and helpful. It was busy so we sat by the window, but there’s free WiFi which is convenient. Overall loved it!"

"I absolutely loved this place when I visited Charleston this month. I tried the Peanut Mocha (hot) and it was so delicious. It wasn’t “too sweet”, it was made just right. The service was also great and fast, we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks. Super cute spot that’s worth checking out if you are in the area."

That is, until 4 o’clock on a Friday or Saturday, when these spots transform into a Southern European-style bar. The counter is cleared to make way for a feast of delicious snacks (or snackies, per our household), all ready to graze with the purchase of a cocktail or glass of wine.
