Reviews Summary

Dot Dot Dot offers a sophisticated speakeasy experience with expertly crafted cocktails and delicious small plates. Diners praise the classy ambiance, attentive service, and unique menu items like the Brussel sprouts. However, some guests feel rushed due to reservation time limits and note that the fried chicken, once a signature dish, is no longer available, leading to mixed feelings about the value.

"We went on Saturday night. We made reservations for 5-7 We sat at the bar. Marissa our bartender was friendly and helpful as this was our first time here. We avoid overly sweet cocktails. I got a Spur of the Moment. It was very good. I noticed others getting it. We got and shared the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts. Just enough food for us. Stefan was there and made sure we were taken care of. Reservations are 2 hours. We were done 20 minutes early. We wanted to respect the next reservation. Would definitely return."

"This place is great

Food appetizer were legit on another level

The cocktail selection was big and fancy. Really good all of them. A bit pricey but definitely a recommended date night.

My only complaint is the membership, which only gets you access to the bar. Which is a great bar... But there's several other great bars without a membership that requires you put your credit card number, works as a yearly subscription that if you cancel, you lose the rest of the year.... Kinda predatory.

So since we're being predatory, I'm gonna complain about a lot of petty stuff as well.
-Some of the staff was dressed very casual. Not uniformly. Not what I expect from a club I'm paying a membership.
- bathrooms toilet was not flushed when I'm coming in. Pretty not membership worthy.
- water is tap water. And the one that taste bad. You can buy 24 water bottle pack with half of one membership.

What am I paying for?

Anyways. Besides those predatory practice, it is a great place with great food and great drinks. Just had to speak my mind"

"We visited our son and he treated us to this amazing restaurant. As a speak easy the entrance blended in next to the neighboring hardware store. You entered through a plain lit hallway that opened up to an amazing space. The staff was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious; the Crispy Brussel Sprouts were the best I have ever tasted....definitely recommend. You don't always get excellent service, a beautiful ambiance, and exquisite food all in the same place. It was a pleasant experience I would recommend to anyone in the area."

Best Bars in Charlotte: Cool New Places to Drink & All-Time Favorites

The secret is out… this is the hottest new speakeasy in town Stefan Huebner, one of the OGs of the Charlotte beverage scene, and his team continue to create a thoughtful and unique cocktail program. The drinks menu changes regularly, but some of the standouts have been Lily Wants a Pony (Tito’s, Riesling, rosemary, fresh lime juice) or the Good to Be King (Early Times 354 bourbon, Bonal Gentiane Quina, house-blend sweet vermouth, black walnut bitters). And just like their cocktails, their food options are delicious -- consisting namely of charcuterie, small plates, and pastas.
