They deliver exceptional food and cocktails at a reasonable price which makes them an ideal location for a date. The sandwich comes with their creamy slaw, pickles, tomato on a benne seed bun.

The Goodyear House expanded their patio last year, adding an open air greenhouse and igloos over several tables to make outdoor dining in their gorgeous backyard accessible and comfortable all year round (the igloos will leave for the season in mid-March but if you missed igloo season they are coming back next winter!)

This spot in NoDa is an absolute perfect spot to enjoy a creative and eclectic dinner. I mentioned in a previous post that I loved this spot, and honestly, I cannot rave about it enough. The outdoor space is perfect for enjoying a dinner outdoors and makes you want to stay for a while to enjoy the surroundings.

My first time here actually brought back delightful memories from my childhood when me and the family would head out to the park as a special treat to have Sunday dinner. This patio is nostalgic, and complete with real picnic tables.

**Opening just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, The Goodyear House serves laid-back local fare with international touches. During the forced closure, staff expanded the restaurant’s patio to the lot next door, allowing more reservations under twinkle lights and a hundred-year-old tree.

In my book, there’s nothing better than a place my little one and I both love. We recently went to The Goodyear House and sat in the outdoor greenhouse. There was plenty to keep him occupied: live music, lots of other kids around and yard games, plus space to walk around.
