I love raw oysters, due partially to the mermaid in me, partially hereditary. My Dad developed a love of raw oysters during his time in the Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana. He converted my Mom, all his children and most of his grandchildren into oyster lovers!

Easy Bistro – I’m a huge of fan of this restaurant and their other one, Main Street Meats (I talk about it all of the time). Easy Bistro is gorgeous. From the floral decor to even the floor tile, it’s super-romantic no matter what time of day you visit.

Easy Bistro is one of the nicer restaurants here in town and it has great upscale brunch on the weekends. Food Works is another favorite; I get the crab cake Benedict every time. And The Flying Squirrel on Sundays.
