The pizzas at ​​Local Myth seem like they were created by hitting the “add all” toppings button. For example, the Taco Wagon has a sour cream swirl, three cheeses, jalapeños, tomatoes, onions, scallions, garlic, chorizo, and *takes a deep breath* cilantro. But we’ve found that their simple dishes are even better, like the margherita pie that comes with cherry tomatoes or the very cheesy and very delicious pepperoni calzone.

My first night is always spent at downtown’s colorful, laid-back Local Myth Pizza. Here, thin, chewy pies are topped with gourmet ingredients and house-made sauces (I think about the creamy garlic leek way, way too often). Snag a seat in the bar and you might make a friend for life: I still keep in touch with the friendly couple I met here on my last visit.

Pizza is the ultimate fast food for lunch or dinner, and you know given my obsession with finding the best pizza in Seattle that I’d be all over the pizza scene in Chelan. While it’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had, Local Myth is the best option for pizza in Lake Chelan.

Local Myth Pizza, located in the heart of the town, is a perfect spot for pizza lovers seeking quality food at an affordable price. Operating from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, this pizzeria is an excellent choice for a midday meal or a relaxed dinner. Upon entering Local Myth Pizza, the first thing you’ll notice is the charming small-town vibe.

Every family’s food mood and craving can be satisfied in Chelan. Local Myth Pizza has earned its name: The pesto chicken pie nearly levitated off its thin crust, it was so loaded with roasted garlic!. The chicken fried steak at the Apple Cup Cafe was not greasy — a miracle given that it was blanketed in delicious milk gravy.

Local Myth Pizza is located right downtown Chelan and they have delicious pizza with fresh ingredients, house-made sauces & homemade dough. There is a tiny seating area inside & a little bit of patio seating out front, too, or it’s a great one to bring takeout back to your hotel or bring it to a beach or park by the lake.

The staff here are incredibly nice and the pizza is outstanding. We ordered the Pep Crunch, which features double-baked pepperoni (yum!) Make sure to order yours with feta for an extra cheesy kick. They also have take-and-bake pizzas if you want to bring it back to your vacation rental!

Local Myth (Chelan): If you’re in Downtown Chelan, head to Local Myth and give their meatless pizza section of the menu a go. We recommend the Feta Florentine, but their Garden Nouveau and Chrome pizzas are also local favorites.

The pizzas at Local Myth Pizza are super delicious and easy for families to share. We had Local Myth Pizza delivered to our AirBNB and it was an easy dinner that everyone liked.

It’s within easy walking distance to dinner at Local Myth Pizza, and can be followed by dancing to live music on the roomy back patio at Tin Lilly.
