Reviews Summary

Pasquale's Newport is a beloved, third-generation eatery praised for its nostalgic pizzas and hoagies, evoking fond childhood memories for many. While the comforting food and family-friendly atmosphere are highly appreciated, some diners note that portion sizes for sides can be small and that the experience might be considered sparse by some, with occasional issues regarding order accuracy or value for money.

"Had a Pasquale’s in Withamsville, Oh when I was a wee one. Came here today out of nostalgia with my son. Super friendly people!! Everyone said hi and greeted us. Pizza and hoagies were great!! The sauce was exactly as I remember- yummy. Beats LaRosas any day. Clean as a whistle too. Drove down from Mason and will return again!!"

"Food tastes amazing, but their portion sizes for sides and desserts are a little sad. Everything is reasonably priced. I got the meatball hoagie and the jalapeño poppers. Paid $10 and $5 respectively. The poppers only included four bits on the plate, which was disappointing number. I was hoping for at least five, but they were still delicious. Their bread is amazing and rivals that of Olive Garden bread sticks. You go up to the counter to order and they bring your food to the table. Atmosphere is sparse, but still enjoyable. Nice photos of the original owner on display. Only 3-4 tables in the room, allowing for a more personal dinning experience. Two large glass windows in the dinning area which provides a lot of natural light. A simple, but pleasant pizza place."

"A Local Gem That Deserves to Last Forever

I’ve been coming to this little hole in the wall pizza place for over 20 years, ever since I was a kid visiting with my grandma. To this day, they still make the best hoagies I have ever had. It is not fancy, but it is full of heart, and it feels like home every time I walk in.

The food is comforting, always made to order, and priced fairly. Not every single item on the menu is a standout, but everything is solid and satisfying in the way great comfort food should be.

What makes this place truly special is that it has never tried to be anything other than what it is. I hope the owners know how much they mean to this community. I hope they continue to stay true to their roots and never lose that special feeling that makes this place so beloved.

This is the kind of spot I want future generations to know and love, just like I have. Please stay open forever."
