Open for breakfast and lunch, Annie’s Soda Saloon is a must-stop before you head out for a day of shopping or exploring. The friendly staff makes the experience here great, they make you feel like a regular even if you aren’t. The first time I visited I had lunch a soup and sandwich combo, which was amazing.

You could get an enormously supersized root beer or other soda float at Annie’s, but I’m saying head back to Trailhead. They change out their menu seasonally, but most recently I had a flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream that almost made me cry.
