So many good meal options! Now here are my pro tips: - Go to the secret stash early and put your name on the list, then walk around town (they get super packed) - Make sure you make a reservation for Marchitelli’s in advance! (They dont take walk ins when they’re fully booked) - Head to Butte’s bagels before 9:30 if you dont want to wait in a line! . . . #crestedbutte #crestedbuttecolorado #colo...

The Secret Stash is celebrated for its exceptionally creative and delicious pizzas, with unique topping combinations like fig and prosciutto earning widespread praise. Diners also rave about the vibrant, eclectic atmosphere and friendly service, making it a must-visit spot. While wait times can be long due to its popularity, the unique flavors and lively ambiance are consistently deemed worth the anticipation.

"A large group of us came and got some pizza here and they handled the large group very nicely! The food was also great we each ordered something and it still came out pretty fast. If your looking for a pizza place this one is a good go to. Its also a unique place on the inside but would be good for dine in or carry out."

Sarah Spears

"Today, we stopped and had lunch.
It was a great atmosphere, and the side patio was awesome.
Our server fit right into the vibe.
She was great and very friendly.
All that said, the Food was the was the star of the show.
We got the garlic bread and the " Bouty Call"
Pizza. It was amazing and lived up to its description. I will definitely stop again and have no doubt it will be note worthy again.
Thank you for the experience."

Edward Pierce

"Wonderful atmosphere & amazing food. We were not going to stop, but a local told us it was the best pizza, so we had to try it. We split a salad & a pizza & it was enough for the 2 of us. The Burrata salad was so light & yummy. The Melty Mancuso pizza with added prosciutto was not your normal pizza. Their crust was nice & thin, and the topping were delicious!"

The Best Things to Do in Crested Butte, Colorado

You are right to have low expectations of pizza in small mountain towns, but Secret Stash forever raises that bar. With a perfectly thick, flavorful crust and toppings like fig, prosciutto, and truffle oil (on a pizza called The Notorious F.I.G.), you’ll be excited to eat your leftovers for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, you can’t go wrong at McGill’s.

The Secret Stash Pizza - The Stash is usually the one restaurant we always make sure to take out of town guests to because of their truly unique pizzas. Start with one or more of their amazing appetizers - our favorites are the stuffed mushies, stash wings (think Asian, not buffalo), and the very aptly named crack fries. Then dare to venture outside your comfort zone and order one of their specialty pies - our go-tos are the Spicy Wais, Woodward and the Hamptons.

If you’ve been to Crested Butte even once, you’ve probably heard of the Stash. The famous pizza pub has earned its stripes with unheard of topping mash-ups and a lively Tibetan design scheme. Look under “Faves” on the menu for the Notorious F.I.G.: The winner of the World Champion Pizza Challenge is perfectly constructed with mozzarella, bleu, and asiago cheeses, shaved prosciutto, dried black mission figs, and a truffle oil drizzle ($21 for 12 inch).

Amazing Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Crested Butte!

I have been a customer since before Secret Stash moved to their awesome (and much bigger location.) Secret Stash, which opened in 2002, is a must for even the kid-free person. I end up going multiple times because their specialty pizzas are so good that it’s hard to decide on just one. Plus, you must get an appetizer of “crack fries.” You can order slices of cheese and pepperoni for the kids; therefore, the adults can get what you want.

Things to do in Crested Butte

I tend to not always write about restaurants in a town or city, as they can often change, but some restaurants we really enjoyed were Bonez for Mexican (excellent margaritas and fabulous atmosphere and food) and Secret Stash and Brick Oven for pizza. They all have fun outdoor seating and a lively vibe. Nicki’s is a popular donut spot, and Third Bowl is awesome for home-made ice cream.
