What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about The Woolworth's exceptional customer service, inventive craft cocktails, and stunning downtown views from its terrace. While the ambiance and drinks receive high praise, some reviews suggest the food quality could be improved, with specific dishes like calamari and steak noted as needing refinement. Overall, it's a recommended spot for drinks and a great atmosphere, with outstanding service often being the highlight.
"Stopped here for lunch on a recommendation from our hotel concierge. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with upbeat music and a chill, happy vibe.
Our server, Cris, was incredibly inviting and friendly. He recommended the crab nachos, which turned out to be amazing. The man ordered a Smoked Old Fashioned, and I went with the Sleigh All Day—a tequila and raspberry concoction.
For our main entrees, I had the crab sandwich, and the man chose the steak sandwich. The food was very good, and the service and atmosphere were equally impressive. Cris delivered just the right amount of attentiveness. Thanks to him—and the food—we’ll definitely be back.
We spent $150 with tip"

"We just had the pleasure of have an early cocktail hour (Tuesday - 4:30pm) at this beautiful restaurant. Situated in the heart of downtown Dallas, the setting on the 2nd level is gorgeous. The restaurant was relatively quiet and empty because of the time of day. Our experience was solid.
We had the Crab Nachos, Nana’s Toast Short Ribs and the Sicilian Calamari and a couple of cocktails, the Unforgettable and That’s What She Said.
The crab nachos were definitely my favorite. The calamari seemed fresh but it wasn’t Sicilian so that’s a bit misleading. It had a thick coating and came with a sweet & sour dipping sauce. I would expect a beautiful homemade red Italian sauce or a little drizzle of olive oil and fresh lemon and herbs from this region. It was good just not Sicilian.
Service was fast and Mario was very polite. It was my first time visiting so I would’ve wished a little more interaction and perhaps some history and recommendations about the place.
I am still in search and on the quest to find a great happy hour location in the downtown Dallas area. This location had a couple of drinks for happy hour but no food items. I’m still searching……"

"Wow - what a wonderful restaurant! Our party of 4 sampled many delicious items. We had the good fortune of meeting the chef as well as the general manager while our table was being set up. That set the stage for a great evening.
The atmosphere is unique, the staff knowledgeable, and the presentation very upscale.
All recommendations were accurate as well as delicious. Service was consistent with thoughtful consideration given to our inquiries. We will be back soon!"
