"I think this place has the potential for 5 star but we were there on New Year's day. Which in my experience in retail/restaurants is national callout day.
That aside, we were trying to get my in laws to try some new places and Cheddar's looked right up their alley(they like Cracker Barrel but have had some bad experiences lately). We checked out the menu online and they were down.
Our wait was long and this was after we had reserved online. Again, staffing issues on New Year's. Once we got seated our server was great and basically saved our entire evening she explained the staffing and timing issues and apologized multiple times.
We were looking forward to onion rings....they were out. They did have drink specials whoch are 100% worth it. The food we were able to get was very enjoyable but the dessert was too sweet/rich for the table so we ended up taking it home.
The best part of the service was that our server found my father in law and walked him back to us from the bathroom which was pretty far away. He does have trouble getting around so we will always remember her doing that.
All in all, the in-laws found a new place and have been back a few times since we visited around the holidays. We look forward to visiting this one and maybe looking around our area back home."

"I have been to Cheddars in the past and loved it. This time around,.not so much. The menu has been changed, and I couldn't find any of my original things on there. The actual food tasted just like prepacked heated food. i.e. fries, fish, (the crust separated from the fish leaving an undercooked exposed piece.of fish) the. Hips were greasy. The dip was good. The tomatoes were not fresh, but they were mushy. Both our orders were horrible. The server came by us once to take our order, and we saw him pass by another time when he quickly asked if everything was ok and hastly took off. Don't expect the name, Cheddars, to have much good food."
