Reviews Summary

Jacobs Brewhouse is praised for its unique atmosphere, friendly service, and a wide selection of house-brewed beers and creative dishes. While many enjoy the overall experience and find the food satisfying, some reviews mention inconsistencies in execution and value for the price. The restaurant's multi-faceted nature, including a grocer and bar, adds to its appeal for a varied clientele.

"This was the only restaurant I saw that didn't have a casino in it, and it has three parts. There the restaurant, a high end grocery/gift store/bakery and coffee shop, and a lovely bar with a huge selection of beers on tap.

We are at the bar, and the barman was super helpful. He said they had flights, and my husband was really happy to try four beers and I got a taster of one of the local sours, a huckleberry one that was delicious!

We ordered the buffalo burger with a side salad and a cup of the wasabi split pea soup. The balance of the soup was remarkable, fresh split pea with the tang of wasabi without so much that it would overwhelm the flavor of the peas. Lovely. The salad was fresh and the burger meaty, branded, and delicious with crisp bacon.

Highly recommend this place. We even hiked back here to get a four pack of their house brewed beers and they gave us an insulated bag to keep them cold."

"Jacob's Brewhouse is a massive spot right in downtown Deadwood with a little something for everyone. There’s a restaurant side, a brewery side, and even a cool grocery-style shop that was different but pretty neat. We sat on the brewery side, which had a laid-back vibe. Service was a bit on the slower side, but nothing too bad.

The beer selection was solid — they had a mix of their own brews and guest taps, which was nice for variety. Food was decent — nothing mind-blowing, but still enjoyable overall. It’s a great place to hang out and grab a bite and a pint if you’re exploring Deadwood. Definitely worth checking out."

"Super fun and friendly restaurant in Deadwood! Fab collection of autographed guitars 🎸 from famous musicians! Super happy with the food and service! Very comfortable 2 story restaurant with a deck for drinks! Food was terrific! Waitress could not have been friendlier! During the motorcycle convention, so parking was tough."
