Step back into the Wild West in Deadwood, South Dakota — a historic gold rush town where legends like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane once walked. Today, its preserved main street, saloons, and casinos keep its outlaw spirit alive. Whether for its frontier history, ghost stories, or old-town charm, Deadwood remains one of America’s most unforgettable destinations. #DeadwoodSD #WildWestHistory...

Reviews Summary

Snitches offers an upscale dining experience with standout steaks and impeccable service, often praised by guests for attentive staff like Toby and Mason. While the ambiance is chic and art deco-inspired, some diners have noted inconsistencies in food preparation and found the casino noise to be a detractor. Despite occasional critiques, many consider it a hidden gem for its elevated cuisine and exceptional hospitality.

"We had the most fantastic evening at Snitches. Chef John brought us a special tartar amuse-bouche for my birthday. We had a wonderful conversation with him and his plans for a brilliant updated menu. The service was the best I've ever had in South Dakota. The hostess was friendly and engaging. Our server, Toby, anticipated absolutely everything we would need. His suggestions were spot on. He made an already great evening even more special. We both had the tenderloin, prepared exactly as ordered and butter tender, and paired with truffle mac and cheese along with sauteed wild mushrooms. Pastry Chef Greg had created a new dessert for the evening. It was a layered dessert in a stemless wine glass with rich chocolate mousse, topped by housemaid cashew butter and then topped with a dollop of rich cream. And finally, small pieces of house-made honeycomb for texture. I really hope they put that on the menu because it was outstanding. And yes, they make an excellent cocktail!"

"My husband and I were traveling through for my birthday in May. We adored the bar and the food! This restaurant is very cute and well maintained. The only complaint we had was our server/ bartender was very flirty and over friendly which made my husband and I very uncomfortable. He made little to no eye contact with my husband and rarely talked to him. He was short and had a shaggy mullet. Loved this place! However I hope next time we pass through he won’t be there to wait on us!"

"Mason crushed it, he knew the menu, he knew how to talk about the food, he knew what to recommend and he can also talk whiskey. As someone who comes from a hospitality background, from front of house to back of house I really did appreciate his attention to detail. Good job young man. The food was also fantastic and the whiskey prices were very reasonable. 10 out of 10."
