What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Akira Back is celebrated for its innovative Japanese fusion cuisine, particularly dishes like the tuna pizza and Hot Mess sushi roll. Diners consistently praise the impeccable service from attentive staff and the restaurant's sleek, classy atmosphere. While generally a hit, some find the price point high for the portion sizes.
"Akira Back is a must-visit in Delray Beach! We started with the tuna pizza and yellowtail tartare—both were amazing and perfect for sharing. The tuna pizza was a standout, with such unique flavors. For our mains, we shared the Jidori chicken, Hot Mess, and baked crab cut roll. The Hot Mess was incredible and definitely our favorite! We finished with the chocolate in a cup, definitely get it! The service was impeccable, and the interior was sleek and modern. Akira Back is easily one of the top restaurants in the area. Highly recommend for a special night out!"

"The food was really good Akira. The staff were lovely. My waiter made very good recommendations and he was so patient and friendly. I will definitely be back. I also loved the entire setting. The ambience was great and prices are decent. Another gem in Delray Beach"

"Comfy, Roomy, round table for Six family members. Four first timers, and two regulars who live in Delray Beach. We came from Vero Beach and St Lucie West area.
Great menu, fun name dishes, presentation was outstanding, and tasty entrees. From the apps to the main courses. And our server VAL (Valerie), was Aces. Great service, talked about the entire menu and recommended some great and delicious choices. She did not disappoint us!!!
Great ambiance and decor. Just next door to our hotel, The Ray, so it was a short easy walk.
We will be back!!!🥢🥢🥢"
