Reviews Summary

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, is celebrated for its creative breakfast and brunch fare, vibrant atmosphere, and generally friendly service. While many rave about signature dishes like the pancake flight and inventive Benedicts, some diners find the wait times to be long and the overall experience to be average. Despite mixed reviews on consistency, its unique menu and lively vibe make it a popular spot.

"We loved spending time in downtown Denver, and on our son's recommendation, we decided to check out Snooze at its new location, but its original city. (By the way, I wish I could give the atmosphere at this new location 10 stars)! What impressed us right away was its vibrant, retro/midcentury modern vibe and its diverse menu. We especially appreciated that so many ingredients are locally sourced.

I ordered the Parmesan-Panko Crab Cake Benedict, and it was absolutely out of this world—beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and surprisingly filling. My wife chose the Farmer’s Market Veggie Bowl and added a side Blueberry Protein Pancake—both were fresh, satisfying, and expertly prepared. She could hardly finish it all!

Service was fast and genuinely friendly, and every dish looked (and tasted) like it belonged on a magazine cover. We left full, happy, and completely motivated to check out the two Snooze locations back home in Charlotte. If they’re anything like the Denver original, we’re in for a treat!"

Keith Pierce

"Great place for breakfast. They can make the whole menu gluten free (!!). The service was great and fast and as the weather was nice, we sat outside. We had the gluten free eggs Benedict (with avocado, gluten free) and the cinnamon rolls pancakes (with gluten). Both were great. The pancakes portion was huge!"

Melina Ribeiro

"We decided to visit their new location. I love how airy and bright it is. Within the Union Station, it's got the historic downtown charm we love. Glad I used their waitlist to get in line well ahead of time so the wait wasn't long. Our waitress was great. The food menu has definitely expanded since our last visit to a Snooze. I got their Bee & Burrata toast and the greens & almond butter coconut smoothie. It was delicious! My hubby got their pancake flight and a mango smoothie. We both left full and happy. The food came out quick for the amount of people in there. Great experience and I definitely recommend trying this new location and the expanded menu!"

The 12 Best Breakfast Spots In Denver - Denver

There are those who resent the homegrown chain for the hours-long wait times and $17 bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. But there are also fans who can’t get enough of their Benedict duos (instead of choosing between habanero pork belly and smashed avocado versions, you get both) and pancakes that test the limits of the genre, with varieties like pineapple upside down and strawberry shortcake. Yes, it still gets super busy on weekends—especially the OG LoDo location—but now you can check-in online and kill that 90-minute wait from the comfort of your bed.

Why go: If you’re any kind of sugar-in-the-morning bruncher, you’ll want to skip straight to the Sweet Utopia section. On this unseasonably warm day, I headed straight for the Ballpark neighborhood, one of the hottest restaurant neighborhoods in the city, where I had plenty of choices: Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria, Buenos Aires Pizzeria and Snooze had all staked out territory here years ago, with Trillium and Biker Jim's joining the lineup this past year. If I'd just wanted to drink my lunch, I could have added Star Bar or Whiskey Bar to my list of options, too.
