"We were there in the off season, so options weren’t much to choose from. But that completely worked in our favor, Local Break was great!
Started off by sharing the clam chowder, it had so much flavor and big chunks of potato and clam and was honestly probably the best we had on the trip!
Also ordered the Po’ Boy, and it was also one of the better ones I’ve had, period.
Big shrimp, and a perfectly toasted baguette, crunchy outside soft and doughy inside.
Whether you’re there during the season or off, make the stop!"

"We have been regulars at Local Break since it first opened years ago. We have gone weekly in summer, it’s a favorite! We were excited to go back under the new ownership. We were seated promptly and the new decor is lovely. However, we are usually bar sitters but we had our son with us so we got a high top. Our server did not approach our table for 20 minutes, but instead stood at the bar and talked to other customers sitting at the bar and other employees of the restaurant. My husband tried to get drinks at the bar for us himself but the bartender said our server would be with us soon. Even after he told her we were there she didn’t come over and continued socializing. We then moved to the bar and had the best experience. Friendly and attentive bartenders. Yummy drinks and we enjoyed the food. I would recommend local break with the hope that their servers attend their tables in a timely manner. The bar is outstanding!"

"Outstanding meal, we started with the Mexican scallops. They were out of this world good. Very unique dish and cooked to perfection. The Tuna tacos were also amazing, very fresh and tasty. The burger was also cooked to perfection and topped with a very nice bacon. Service was exceptional and very attentive. Can’t say enough good things about our first visit. Thank you Bena and Bobby."
