"David, the owner, is awesome!!! He is very friendly and always enjoy talking with him! I went to his food truck in Venice at the farmers market for first time several years ago. His pork tamales are awesome! Every time I was in the area I would take the time to go there. He is at his current location and I still make the effort to go when I’m in the area! Still love the tamales and tried the jalapeño and black beans for first time… I think they are my new favorite!!! Thank you for making us feel special when we stop by!!! Tennessee isn’t that far from here! 😂"

"The food was HORRIBLE. I'm not exaggerating when I say I felt I was eating vomit. The rice was mushy and wet from the bean 'water'. Three people were working at the food truck. The older gentleman cooking and the lady at the window are extremely friendly and attentive. The younger guy came out of the food truck with his gloves on. Walked down the block...was gone for 5 minutes. Came back with something bundled in his hands and went right back to cooking without changing his gloves. He was touching the tortilla to prepare the food. I would stay away. The food is not good or authentic and extremely over priced. I ordered the bowl because I didn't want the young guy touching my food. I ate 2 bites and trashed the whole thing. $15 dish."
