What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Valley Bar at French Lick Resort offers a lively sports bar atmosphere with generally good food, though many find the prices to be high. Guests praise signature items like pretzel sticks and well-cooked steaks, and the attentive service can elevate the experience. However, some reviews mention inconsistent drink quality and issues with staff attitude or attentiveness, especially during busy periods.
"Paying $22 for a burger is definitely overpriced, but I figured I would just use some of what I earned from the casino. However, the burger was really good, and I was impressed. My friend had to ask three people for a drink (a simple pop), and got his food before ever getting his drink."

"Ate dinner here the day before Christmas Eve. Located in the Casino building (hang a left before you would enter the Casino proper), the setting was casual as expected (for example, cocktails served in a plastic cup). The Fillet Mignon was cooked to perfection (their steaks are sourced from the same as the highly lauded 1875 restaurant in the French Lick Hotel) and the bread pudding was delicious. Our waitress was friendly, and while a bit pricey, it was an overall good experience."
Ken Gibson
"Our family watched the Vanderbilt game here Saturday afternoon which ended up lasting 4 hours. They were very accommodating and set us up nicely in front of a huge TV. Our waitress Tammy was fantastic! She checked on us every 5-10 minutes and made sure we had everything we needed for 4 hours! Even when they got super crowded she still managed to check on us as often! Best waitress ever!!!"
