I initially had a great experience, the server was knowledgeable about allergens and the food (gluten free fettuccine bolognese) was delicious. However, when I later heated up my leftovers I found 2 macaroni noodles in my dish, which were not gluten free. This meant everything I ate was contaminated.

After spending the day at Rocky Mountain National Park, it is important to refuel with some good food. Located just a bit outside of the Beaver Meadow’s entrance is Bird and Jim. It is easy to spot with the big Restaurant sign that is easily spotted on the left side of the road.

Finish off your final day in Estes Park with another stop at a local brewery or distillery, and have a grand finale dinner at Bird and Jim. The elk burger or mushroom ravioli paired with a Colorado whiskey flight make the perfect culmination to your Estes Park adventure!
