I actually only ate out twice that week — that Thursday night at Ermilio’s Italian Restaurant, where I sat in my vehicle with the windows down for about an hour while I waited for my table. There’s always a wait at Ermilio’s, and I am OK with that, because it’s so very good. it’s also very close to Writers’ Colony, so I don’t feel too guilty about leaving for just a wee bit.

Last month I spent a very relaxing weekend in Eureka Springs AR. This was my first visit to Eureka Springs, but definitely won’t be my last. I stayed at a cottage, just steps from downtown, and could walk nearly everywhere. I had read and heard good things about Ermilio’s Italian Home Cooking, and originally planned to go for lunch.

We had an excellent meal there celebrating, starting out with the mussels (no gluten-free bread for my husband, unfortunately). He had the gorgonzola cream sauce over gluten-free pasta with chicken, which was truly delightful. I had the Shrimp Provencal and mine was excellent too, although I liked his better.

If you're in the mood for Italian food, head to Ermilio’s and enjoy some of the finest classic Italian dishes around. It's one of the best Eureka Springs restaurants, and is located inside a charming Victorian home, and therefore offers the perfect ambiance for your romantic getaways in Arkansas.

Ermillios offers fine Italian food in a charming atmosphere. Unless you get there early, be prepared to wait a bit, but there’s a cute little bar upstairs where you can play board games and have a drink while you wait. Service is both friendly and efficient.
