"Shortage of employees seems to be a common theme around the area but it was literally worst Pad see ew that we’ve ever had. Noodles were so bland and we couldn’t even eat them without adding soy sauce.
We also ordered a tomyam soup, there is no way that is even close to how Tom Yam should taste.
Please skip this place if you were to look for authentic Thai food."

"Jungle Kitchen is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Chanhassen! If you’re craving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The menu is diverse, featuring a delicious mix of Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes—all made with fresh ingredients and bold, balanced flavors.
I ordered the Orange Chicken and the Pad Thai on my last visit. The Orange Chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a perfectly tangy-sweet glaze. The Pad Thai was just the right amount of savory and had excellent texture—definitely one of the best I’ve had in the southwest metro. Portion sizes are generous, and everything came out piping hot.
The restaurant itself is cozy and very clean, with a welcoming atmosphere whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu—they’re happy to accommodate spice preferences and dietary needs, which is a big plus.
Parking is easy, and the location is convenient—right off Highway 5 with plenty of spots in the lot. They also have online ordering through their website, which is super user-friendly and great for a quick pickup option.
If you’re looking for a reliable local spot with authentic flavors, excellent service, and great value, Jungle Kitchen is the real deal. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu—especially the curry and pho, which I’ve heard amazing things about!"
