"Never went here before because I assumed it catered strictly to tourists. Fortunately other local favorites were booked and we had a wonderful time enjoying Hamburgers, beer, robust fruit salads and dessert on the deck along the river. Service was top notch . Afterwards we sat along the river adjacent to the resort enjoying conversations with travelers."

"I first walked in and there was no one in the restaurant, just a few people sitting out back. This is FRIDAY night. That should have been my que.
I ordered the advertised fresh Alaskan Halibut because I love halibut. I got the seafood chowder with it. I asked if they had bread, my server said, Oh no we do not serve bread here. Oh...ok...just crackers will do. Then out from below the deck are two employees smoking away and all the smoke just filled the air. Fine. So I moved.The chowder was good! I so wanted the halibut to be good as I was excited. What a let down. It was DRY and OVERCOOKED with very little flavor, like it had been frozen and NOT fresh. So disappointing. I paid $70 for this meal. Until they figure out how to hire a good cook, I'd hold off from this place."
