Reviews Summary
Black Bart's Steakhouse offers a unique dining experience where entertainment is as prominent as the food. Diners rave about the singing staff and lively atmosphere, often calling it the highlight of their visit. While many praise the steaks, especially the prime rib, some find the food to be bland and the portions smaller than expected. The service is consistently highlighted as attentive and friendly, with the musical performances adding a memorable touch.
"I recently completed a road trip through Arizona: Tombstone, Tucson, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Winslow, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. I had researched many restaurants before the trip started
This way I could have a variety of cuisines, and also pick local restaurants rather than chain restaurants. I saved my steak night for Black Bart's Steakhouse in Flagstaff. It was already highly recommended, and it had an Old West theme that makes extraordinary.
I had the 16 oz bone-in ribeye with baked potato and house salad. I added smothered mushrooms and an iced tea. The meal was excellent. Even though I ate at the bar I had appealing decor and prompt service."

"Been here multiple times over the years, always good food and service. Always enjoy brining new people to experience the entertainment and great food. Today the free biscuits were on the dry side, we just let the staff know then boom within minutes fresh hot biscuits. They didn’t have to do that but they said they wanted to make us happy. Appreciate it! We will be back."

"We went to dinner with friends. My husband ordered hamburger, twice baked potato, garden salad. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich, roasted red potatoes, Caesar salad, friends split a sampler plate of prime rib, ribs, chicken, with French fries and garden salad.
Husband thought the burger was ok, and claimed the twice baked potato was odd…chunky pieces of potato in it and the cheese on it was crispy - weird. My grilled chicken sandwich was dry, and it tasted burnt, so I took the piece off meat out and it was very charred on one side - yuk. The red papers were ok, just a little dry.
Friends thought their chicken was dry, ribs were ok, prime rib was good.
We all liked our salads!
Our servers were fantastic- happy, hard working, attentive, and singers! The best part of our evening was the entertainment they provided. Really amazing. Loved most of the songs they sang. We only wish the mic system or speakers were better, because when they needed to sing soft or gentle (which some songs require) they were more difficult to hear. But they’re amazing! Piano player was extraordinary! Send like many of the waiters/entertainers are music majors at the university.
We would return for the music!"
