"This place has really great fresh seafood dishes done in an Italian style. The waiter we had was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The bread was excellent, as were the entrées and cheese flight. My dish was a seafood stew and was very fresh and tasty. All in all, it was a great experience. Get a reservation as they are only open for a limited amount of time daily and were fairly busy while we were there."

"Great for a special occasion or "just because" -- best Manhattan clam chowder ever and the special venison with brussels and pistachios really hit the spot. Definitely get reservations. There's quite a bit of artwork to catch your eye as well. A feast for all the senses. Can't wait to come back again. Very attentive and interesting staff. Don't be shy."

"We ate here last week and were a bit disappointed. The last two visits our food was outstanding but this time my venison medallions were supposed to be medium rare and they were done (not even a speckled of pink. Wife’s Italian dish with some kind of ground beef and pork wasn’t good. She ate about a third of it. As a bit of a foodie, we expect that our dinners will be outstanding EVERY time at those prices."

Shortly after I arrived and unpacked, I walked down the path alongside the hotel to the two + blocks of Old Town Bandon, where I planned to have dinner at Alloro Wine Bar & Restaurant. Susan Hayes, the Owner/Chef of the restaurant, was delightful. She studied at the Seattle Culinary Academy and currently maintains a staff of six employees.
