What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lord Bennett's offers a memorable dining experience with its spectacular ocean views and seafood specialties, particularly highlighted during sunset. While many praise the attentive service, delicious food, and ambiance, some diners have experienced inconsistencies in food quality and service, alongside high prices.
"You know, it's really hard to find a 4 star+ restaurant on the Oregon coast, but this 4 course meal was the best we've had in years. Maybe better than our home BBQ. Lol. But the food was amazing, the service was very attentive and pleasant. Over all a great meal experience. If you are in or passing through Bandon, Oregon, this is truly a must stop."

"The food was okay. The crab cakes were okay, not the best I’ve had but not the worst. My husband had the pasta with smoked salmon and he liked it. I had the pasta with crab legs, it was okay, I would describe the sauce as more of a soup base than an actual sauce. They give you a side of vegetables and they are covered in some sort of soy sauce. The chocolate mousse wasn’t bad."

"I was staying at the hotel across the street and thought I would try it. I ordered crab cakes and a Caesar salad to go. First off, trying to find the entrance was a challenge. Then, you going and have no idea where to go. Figured out it was upstairs. The waitress looked me up and down and I actually called her out on it. Got my bag and as I was leaving they were like "here is your crab cakes". The food was absolutely awful. The crab cakes were soggy and topped with what they called a remoulade. More like cat food. The Caesar salad was basic at best. I spent $33 for that garbage. And, as I always do I tipped the jerks. If they hadn't closed right after I left, I would have gone back and told them. Don't go there! I guess they think since they have a fancy name, they can serve crap and charge crazy prices for it. I don't normally write reviews, especially bad ones, but felt the need for this place."

The upscale menu features plenty of steaks and local seafood; try the nut-crusted halibut, Pacific lingcod with a coconut curry sauce, or wild prawns with garlic butter and sherry.

Best Food In Bandon
When I'm in Bandon I always order Crab Eggs Benedict. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing better. Too bad Lord Bennetts only serves brunch on weekends.
