When hunger strikes, you can find everything from slurpable ramen and fresh tuna poke, to sweet and savory crepes and towering ice cream sundaes.

This expansive 24,000-square-foot Fort Lauderdale food hall is home to everything from a brewery and a distillery to a co-op boutique shop, butcher, and an arts market. As far as food options, choose from Senbazuru (Asian fusion tapas), Needa’ Pita (Mediterranean), The Empanada Bodega, Nellie’s Southern Table, Cuzzy’s Italian Eats (Italian food cooked in a wood-fire oven), Hot Lime (craft tacos and ceviche bar), Poke OG (poke bowls), Sushi by Poke OG, Osom Crepes, Kasai & Koori (Japanese desserts), and Bean & Rose Craft Coffee House, or create your own schmorgasbord with all your favorite dishes from each. Be sure to reserve a space online at one of the outside patio tables or for indoor seating online before you go to avoid disappointment, as capacity is limited.

I was recently invited to attend the preview of Sistrunk Marketplace, a 40,000-square-foot indoor foodie village that is more of a lifestyle complex than a typical food hall which opened to the public this past weekend. Besides housing 12 food purveyors, it contains an island bar and a speakeasy-style lounge; a retail shopping co-op called Sistrunk Collective; a DJ academy and soundproofed recording studio for aspiring musicians; and enough plush chairs and picnic tables to fill a banquet hall.

Sistrunk Marketplace—Located in Flagler Village, Sistrunk Marketplace is an amazing food hall, brewery and marketplace. Reservations are available but not required, and once you've taken a look at all the food stalls, you can sit at a table and use the QR code to order from your phone. You can order multiple things from different stalls, it'll all be under one transaction and then they bring you the food!.

If you’re traveling with a large group, or simply just like sampling a variety of dishes, then the Sistrunk Marketplace is for you. Located about two miles from the beach, the food hall features 10 different locally owned restaurants, ranging from Mexican, Korean, and Southern cuisine to pasta and pizza. There’s also a butcher, an oyster bar, a distillery, and a brewery.

Sit down at Sistrunk Marketplace and scan the QR code to start perusing all of the food and beverage offerings available from more than 10 different food stalls. Whether you’re feeling a poke bowl, or an empanada, or even a chocolatey dessert, a handful of vendors—including Poke OG, Hot Lime, The Empanada Bodega, and Henry’s Sandwich Station—have vegan offerings.

As Fort Lauderdale’s first and largest food hall, Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery is a hub of culinary creativity, featuring a variety of vendors offering everything from fresh seafood to Latin-inspired dishes. The communal vibe and array of food options make it a great place to explore new flavors and sample diverse cuisines in a single, vibrant location.

Originally slated to open in 2019 but pushed back because of COVID restrictions, the 40,000-square-foot space made its debut in August 2020.

The only thing better than 40 beer options is pairing 40 beer options with global cuisine. Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery has brought a hip food hall to Fort Lauderdale’s art district. Outdoor patio, art installations and soulful music make it the happening place.Set within is Khoffner Brewery.
