This is a Nashville chain that has ventured into the “fancy food” industry without losing its coffeehouse charm!. I stopped in for an iced coffee after a run, and I was wowed by their variety of menus. I opted to create my own thing, of course, and ended up with a banana-caramal iced latte!

One of the neat things about this small town is that so many fun things to do are in walking distance!. Just a short walk from the Harpeth Hotel and we were at Frothy Monkey. Yes, the name sounds funny but they have some of the best coffee us coffee fiends have ever had.

Delicious parfaits, bagel sammies, pancakes, and breakfast buns- their brunch menu just don't quit. Our favorite is the California toast, which has fried eggs, homemade salsa, avocado and sprouts on sourdough- Mmm Mmm!. Oh, and you KNOW they have that dank coffee.

Get Your Coffee Fix: There are a lot of great coffee shops around, but we can’t think of a better way to start the day than by grabbing coffee and breakfast at Frothy Monkey?. This day date just started out with some deliciousness (get the biscuits and gravy).

And if you’ve got a taste for original combinations made from scratch, Frothy Monkey’s (125 5th Ave South) got you covered breakfast through dinner, along with craft beer and wine. The cheesy grits bowl, made with feta, is the way to go!

I had the best coffee of my life at Frothy Monkey in Franklin, TN. If you’re looking for a good “cuppa joe”, this is the place. Try one of their signature drinks like the Havana Latte and thank me later.

With four other locations in Tennessee, you could call Frothy a chain. However, we think that would be a disservice to its charm. Think old hardwoods, exposed brick, and a crisp, minimalist color scheme.
