"Ella M normally waits on me and is always fantastic. She knows the menu and has the best personality. The food is always fantastic when I go and normally not a bad wait time, especially with a reservation. This has been one of my favorite spots to eat at for years. A friend took me for my birthday this week and it didn’t disappoint. I had the roasted chicken with potatoes and probably should have had a salad instead of the cake tho.. the waistline would have appreciated that.😂"

"We had a great time at JAlexander. The building is beautiful. Working in the construction industry, I loved everything about the exterior design. They hired a stone artist who knew exactly what to do. Stunningly beautiful. And when you walk in, you are greeted by warm-hearted waitresses waiting for you. It doesn’t get better than that.

Starting with the building, the ceilings and nicely framed beams give you that antique, beautiful structure, finished with a nice chandelier hanging down from the ceiling. Perfect for a date night.

I didn’t get to explore many of the food items. I wanted a Caesar salad with salmon on the side because I needed something light, and my friend ordered steak. The steak was served with broccoli on the side. But because my friend is on a keto diet, the fat and juicy steak was perfect.

Overall, I thought the pricing was fair for the quality. I see myself coming back anytime soon."

"Great food, good friendly service, but the interior of the restaurant smells like a bag of sweaty gym socks. The carpet of this establishment must be ripped out completely. We almost left because of the nauseating and off putting smell. We changed tables twice to try and get away from the smell and we finally settled on a small table outside. It's a shame because the food and service are very good. My wife and I ordered the filet mignon and crab cake special. My father-in-law ordered just the crab cakes and my daughter ordered a pepperoni pizza. The crab cakes were the highlight. We were blown away to find amazing crab cakes outside of the east coast where we are originally from. The drinks were very good too. If this place can address the smelly carpet problem they could be really something special in the area."
