Reviews Summary

Appalachian Brewing Company offers a lively atmosphere with a great beer selection and a charming garden patio. While many praise the friendly service and enjoyable ambiance, some diners have found the food quality inconsistent, with specific dishes receiving mixed reviews. The brewery is a popular spot for its brews and casual vibe, making it a go-to after exploring Gettysburg.

"We visited on the first warm Saturday in March. They were slammed at dinner time and understaffed, likely due to it still being the offseason. We grabbed a picnic table in the garden since they are first-come-first-served. I LOVED the garden - there were daffodils blooming everywhere and patio lights strung in the trees. We had to wait in line and order at the to-go window. Normally I don't think it would be an issue, but the wait was very long, like 30 minutes, this day. We ordered at the window, were given our drinks, and a bit later our food was delivered to the table. Despite the wait in line to order, it didn't take very long for our food to come out. We all enjoyed our food. We got the Hoppy Trails IPA and it was very good. We went inside to use the bathrooms. The dining room is spacious with an industrial vibe. The bathrooms were large and very clean. There was no wait despite the crowd. Parking is plentiful behind the brewery. The location is very close to gift shops and museums."

"We were passing through town and stopped in for a bite. This place is amazing! The music & atmosphere are great, the staff is awesome. Shane was our server and was ON POINT. He definitely added to our experience. The food was perfect. We did quesadillas, burgers & Mac n cheese. We also had draft beer and cocktails. All was great and the prices were less than I expected to pay - a great value."

Sarah Eldred

"Awesome place, great beers, great service, clean environment. We were in a group of seven (one baby and one toddler included). They have a placemat that the kid could color on to keep himself entertained. Plenty space for the stroller where the baby was parked. The server was totally accommodating with the large group. They have an outside spot where when you are done and paid up, you can hang out and order more drinks. Oh yeah, the food was also excellent. Overall, it's a nice spot in a great town."
