"Absolute winner of a place on all levels. Service, atmosphere, food, price...everything. Just a gem of restaurant in Glen Rose. Worth the 1 hour drive from my mom's place! First visit to Texas a few months ago I had Chicken salad and Pimento cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. Hands down one of the best meals I had in Texas.
On my next visit I had to show my wife...and they didn't disappoint! I had the tomato basil soup again, with lasagna, and she had avocado toast and the tomato basil soup. She loves good avocado toast and said this was the best she has had. We all left happy and full!
Can't imagine visiting Texas and not coming here! Highly recommend!"

"First time at Sugar biscuits and loved it! We got the day's special, Beef Stew with a salad and corn bread muffin. The stew was full of tender beef and vegetables, the salad was fresh and packed with feta, pecans and raisins and the corn bread was fresh and delicious. Look forward to returning! Friendly, efficient wait staff! So warm and inviting inside."
