The seasonal farm-to-table menu features hearty dishes prepared with locally sourced and regional ingredients, such as spaghetti Bolognese, seared scallops, wood-fired pizzas, and braised beef shoulder. Brunch is popular with favorites such as a variety of egg dishes, omelets, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and shrimp and grits, along with a range of Champagnes and sparkling wines.

Terra GR uses locally sourced, farm-to-table ingredients in all of their food and, of course, their brunch offerings!. One of their most popular brunch items is called the Hair of the Dog Bowl and it includes house-made cheddar biscuits, kale, caramelized onions, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy. If you prefer something more sweet for brunch, then try their rhubarb french toast complete with a rhubarb compote, rhubarb hibiscus meringue, basil, grapefruit curd, lemon chantilly, and spiced walnuts!

You guys know I love Terra so it’s no surprise that I’m head over heels for their pizza. This is another example of why wood-fired ovens are the absolute best for making a pizza crisp to perfection. Made with local ingredients the Plain Jane with hand-pulled mozzarella, red sauce and sarvecchio is my go-to for happy hour with friends (PS during happy hour their pizzas are all $10).

This farm-to-table restaurant sources its ingredients from around 30 local farms in order to concoct its menu. The goat cheese appetizer, fennel sausage pizza, and four cheese mac & cheese were standouts for me. And, you can pair your meal with a rosé flight – a selection of 4 different rosé pours served up on a hand-carved paddle – which I’ve never seen on a menu before.

A favorite among many, located in downtown Grand Rapids Terra GR delights us with the best of their cuisine, combining the best of local and fresh ingredients in an appealing menu that can delight us all. Their gluten-free options come well-marked, and are ultimately delicious. They offer the best seasonal dishes with excellent quality.

A standout was their Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer which inspired me so much I had to make a version of our own when I got home. Another favorite from Terra that I've never seen anywhere else is their Rosé Wine Flight.

Five years ago, the farm-to-table movement was all the rage, accomplished by restaurants like Grove, Reserve and Terra. But with every restaurant sourcing locally, it’s less of a focus now. Especially since in the winter, every farm-to-table restaurant serves root vegetables and Brussels sprouts.

This Grand Rapids farm to table restaurant has a wonderful brunch menu. The Terra GR egg menu is a mile long but the woodfire pizzas grabbed my attention. They have a strong focus on being sustainable and serving local ingredients which is the type of business I love to support.

While they offer dinner, I love to have brunch at Terra, meaning Earth. Terra’s menu features farm-to-fork fresh dishes with seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. Terra is a casual, family-friendly environment in a building that’s almost 100 years old.

Terra GR Restaurant is a Grand Rapids restaurant that specializes in farm-to-table dishes. They aim to have a majority of their ingredients sustainably and locally sourced. So if you want a real taste of Grand Rapids, this is the place for it.

If you like wood-fired pizza and adult mac and cheese then Terra GR will have you salivating. The mac has bacon, broccoli, roasted tomatoes, four cheese sauce and gigli pasta. Other surprising menu items include a Bahn Mi Sandwich.

The last part of July is the beginning of beet season in Michigan (it runs through September). There was no better place to enjoy beet-forward specialties than Terra, a truly farm-to-table restaurant in Grand Rapids.

Terra, meaning Earth, is one of my go-to brunch spots in Grand Rapids. Yes, they offer dinner, but I love the brunch menu here. They offer farm-to-fork fresh dishes from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Delicious food and cocktails, friendly service, casual but elevated atmosphere. Very accommodating of allergies/gluten free. Solid choice for friends, family or date night!

Terra Bagels – I didn’t get the chance to go here but it’s one of Leighton and Haley’s favorites!. John and Leighton stopped in and John loved the B.E.C breakfast sandwich.

Highly seasonal, but if they still have the Great Lakes whitefish pate, devour it. On a summer night, the outdoor patio is one of the best.
