Despite the typical line that can be found extending out the door, locals say the experience is worth the generally short wait time. As Grand Rapids’ first restaurant to serve breakfast all day, Wolfgang’s is a family-owned eatery with roots dating back to the 1900s.

Everywhere I looked from the moment I got off the plane was a restaurant called Wolfgang’s. The funny thing is I kept seeing crazy adds about what appears to be a bit eccentric Wolfgang and his restaurant. Ads had him in the Austin Powers pose laying in a robe on the bed and hairy chest grabbing the glasses from his head saying “Do I make you hungry baby” and “How the Grinch cooked breakfast.” How could one pass this up?.

Wolfgangs is an Eastown classic that has been around for the past 41 years and has been blessing the GR community with an unbeatable menu ever since. We can assure you that brunch at Wolfgangs is nothing short of fantastic and the menu is filled with favorites!. They are open Mon-Fri from 6:30am-2:30pm and Sat & Sun from 7am-3pm.

When you visit Wolfgang’s you can expect to leave absolutely stuffed. This homestyle breakfast and lunch spot is serving up some massive portions. If you go on the weekend expect a bit of a wait but trust me they have the fluffiest eggs I’ve ever seen.

There’s often a line to brunch here, especially on weekends, but it’s well worth the wait. The Vander Meer skillet has hash browns, turkey sausage, asparagus, onion, Havarti cheese, over easy eggs and hollandaise sauce. It’s a feast for your mouth.

The Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, Bacon & American fries paired with Hazelnut Coffee were delicious. I always enjoy coming here for breakfast. It's one of my favorites and it's situated in a fun area of East Grand Rapids.
