What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Purple Room Supper Club offers a captivating journey back to the Rat Pack era with its retro ambiance and live entertainment. While the music and overall atmosphere are highly praised, some diners find the food menu not quite up to par with the experience, though cocktails and desserts receive positive mentions. Service is consistently noted as excellent and attentive.
"We had a great time the food and drinks were wonderful and the service was great we also really enjoyed the live music. This is a perfect spot to celebrate with friends and family, this was our first time there but I would recommend reservations."
Darek Whiting
"Loved the weeknight entertainment, but not so much the menu. We were told we had to order an entree (I wasn't interested in their karge entree offerings, but preferred to order two appetizers). Also, I thought it strange there was no wine on the beverage menu."
Sue Frause
"This was our third time at the Purple Room and first time catching the Judy Show. Feels like stepping back in time to the supper club era. We really enjoyed the show, but full disclosure it’s geared towards an older crowd. Michael Holmes, the creator and star of the show, is great. There’s audience engagement and lots of humor.
The cocktails are fantastic and keeping with the overall ambiance. Service staff is top notch. Our group of four felt that the food wasn’t quite up to par tho. Could be because it’s early season and the kitchen may be getting its stride. Portions are generous. We shared a carrot cake slice for dessert and polished it off!
We are lucky to live near the Purple room and look forward to visiting again to check out other entertainers. It’s a special venue that’s unique to Palm Springs."

Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs: A Tour of His Hangouts

The Purple Room's co-owner, Tony Marchese, says Frank got engaged to Barbara here, and Frank was known to regularly turn up to drink and hear musicians.
