Reviews Summary
The Tropicale Palm Springs offers a vibrant and festive dining experience with a retro tropical ambiance. Diners praise the flavorful and eclectic menu, unique cocktails, and attentive service. While some find the prices on the higher side, the overall consensus is that it's a must-visit spot in Palm Springs for its fun atmosphere and delicious food. Some brunch items have received mixed reviews, with a recommendation to focus on drinks.
"Love the whole vibe here! Perfect place to come for a great happy hour.
Service was excellent- from the host to the bartenders. Host was especially welcoming and friendly.
We opted for two seats at the bar and ordered their happy hour gin martinis- the biggest martini glass I’ve ever seen, filled all the way to the top. So full that they had to put the olives on the side. Ooff- delicious but strong!
We also tried the tempura green beans which were so good. Not too heavily battered. They are so good."

"The Tropicale in Palm Springs is an absolute gem with a calming, yet upbeat, and romantic atmosphere. The warm pink accent lighting and lush decor set the perfect mood for a fun date night. The fun Cuban music playing in the background adds a vibrant and playful energy to the experience. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed yet lively night out.
The food was on point. We started with the Korean BBQ skewers. They were full of flavor and unbelievably tender. For our entrees, I got the steak and arugula salad, and my husband ordered a flat iron steak with a wonderful southwestern blend of vegetables. Both wonderful. Then, we ended with their carrot cake. Oh my goodness. One of the best carrot cakes that we have tried since being stationed here! It was so good, there wasn’t even time to snap a quick picture. 😂
10/10 recommend this place. We plan on bringing a group of friends with us next time to try their pitchers of speciality drinks. 🍹"

"A fabulous spot with delicious food and a laid-back vibe that won’t quit. I heard that this was the most popular restaurant in Palm Springs and now I understand why.
The atmosphere is intoxicating. Our server was wonderful. And the food was everything you want it to be. Even something as simple as the spaghetti and meatballs was a dish that everyone wanted to eat more of. It felt like being invited into a cool secret club, but not pretentious at all. An unforgettable experience for the large group we were with that exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend."

This popular watering hole and fine-dining eatery is part mid-century supper club (some nights feature live jazz), part Miami kitsch (pops of pink neon, marlin wall art, and apps served in glass seashells), and all good time. Sip from the extensive martini and mojito list; bask in the gorgeous glow of a flambéed baked Alaska from one of the main dining room's tall leather booths; or nosh on protein-packed salads, pork chops, pizzas, or Sunday sushi amid tropical plants and water features in the outdoor area.

One Day In Palm Springs
After much research and deliberation on my part we finally settled on a local haunt The Tropicale, that is known for its retro tropics vibe and delicious options of various global cuisine and strong drinks. Walking away from the main downtown area, we started to doubt that we were making the right decision…but the moment we stepped inside, we instantly feel in love with the dim mood lighting and feeling like we had just stepped into a Mad Man-esque restaurant. We were seated right away in a booth and I kid you not I had one of the best cobb salads I’ve had in my life.
