Fork and Plough is celebrated for its innovative farm-to-table approach and delicious, creative dishes, particularly the Shiitake Swiss Cheeseburger. Diners praise the fresh ingredients and the lively atmosphere, though some have noted that certain vegetable dishes could be improved and seating may not be the most comfortable. Overall, the restaurant offers a highly satisfying dining experience with generous portions and attentive service.
"The food was absolutely delicious. It was such a good gluten-free bun.
Lindsey our server was delightful. She was very sweet and witty. I know there are two Lindsey’s on staff. This one was blonde. I don’t know what the other one looks like if I ever go back, I will request our same waitress she was great."
Gerry-Ann Bates
"I ordered the vegetable plate. Unfortunately, most of the veggies were soggy and limp. The squash was very mushy. The cauliflower was roasted but with so much pepper that I could not eat it all. All that for $20! It was very busy, but the server worked hard. I suppose I ordered the wrong thing. It needs to be greatly improved."
Shelley Chapman
"Food was delicious. Everything from the starters to the main dish to dessert was tasty, flavorful, and delicious.
The place is very cute and homey feeling. We had a big group of us and the food did not take long to come out and the waitstaff was very nice."

Greenville Hamburger Restaurants: 10Best Burger Restaurant Reviews
The menu at Fork & Plough changes twice daily but there is one item that you can always trust to be on the menu â" the Shiitake Swiss Burger. Served with a healthy heaping of arugula, this burger comes directly from Greenbrier Farms and is cooked to perfection. Chef Shawn Kelly "the right amount of salt" and fresh, local, grass-fed beef as the secrets to the burger's quality but much credit goes to the talent in the kitchen. A burger that has the right amount of char on the outside while still maintaining a rare center is hard to find but Fork & Plough nails that with every burger I order. Sure, get it medium or well if you prefer but there is no reason to given the quality of the product they are working with. Brett's expert tip: The menu asks that you limit substitutions to the burger as it is prepared but rumor has it that you can actually ask for bacon on your burger just to dial things up a notch.
