The next day I made up for my caloric intake by taking a long bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail from downtown. This is one of those “rail to trail” projects where an abandoned railway line was paved and turned into a path that everyone could use. The Lazy Goat might be one of my favorite restaurants for the view alone (although their food is fantastic). The restaurant is located above the Art Crossing on the Reedy River that runs through downtown. Definitely a must when visiting the city.

I also checked out local coffee shop, Methodical Coffee, which provided the perfect chill setting for me to get some blogging done. Not to mention, they made me the best almond milk latte I've ever had!

The Lazy Goat is an upscale Mediterranean place. There's pasta, paella, shawarma, charcuterie, and lots of cheese on the menu. My butternut squash was fantastic as was the fried goat cheese.
