Reviews Summary
The Lazy Goat is celebrated for its delicious Mediterranean cuisine, particularly its standout appetizers like fried goat cheese and brussels sprouts, and flavorful handmade pasta dishes. Diners consistently praise the attentive service and the beautiful riverside ambiance, especially from the patio. However, some reviews mention inconsistency in seasoning or preparation of certain dishes, and the noise level can be high during peak times, with parking sometimes being a challenge.
"Food was really good, some plates were definitely better than others, but in general great restaurant! Service and atmosphere was 10/10. We also ordered a dessert at the end, the best chocolate dessert I had!😍😍😍"

"We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Finding parking was pretty tough and we had to pay for parking down the street. We got a lamb dip appetizer with pita chips. It was okay but pretty under seasoned. We split a garden salad and the taste was good but the presentation was odd with the lettuce presented in a large chunk instead of already sliced. For entree's my wife got halibut and I got steak. Both were delicious and well seasoned. For dessert we shared a piece of chocolate Marquis cake which was very rich and tasty.
The atmosphere was pretty busy and noisy without much room to get around. If going at a less busy time it would have been more enjoyable. It took almost 2 hours to get in and out for only two people which isn't terrible but isn't great either since we were ready to order each time the waiter came by.
Overall, not a bad spot but didn't meet expectations considering the price, logistics of getting in and out and atmosphere."

"Had a wonderful time at the Lazy Goat. David was phenomenal and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our meal was delicious. I had the Berbere-Honey Glazed Half Chicken which I really enjoyed. We also had the Fried Goat cheese which was supper good. It kind of tasted like a cheese donut! We sat by the river which was so nice. Overall a nice place to eat to wind down or stop by right before a play."
