Try the grilled beef fillet mignon, the beer braised short ribs or the bone in pork chop. Villaggio Grille also has plenty to satisfy seafood lovers, the white truffle honey Gulf coast shrimp and the fried oyster Caesar salad are both absolutely delicious.

The Villaggio Grille is our favorite restaurant at The Wharf complex, and their menu could be described as a fusion of Mediterranean and Italian Cuisine. We have never been disappointed with the service or the food, and their veal dishes are John's favorite. We enjoy making a date night out at the Wharf with a movie at the Carmike Cinema and dinner at Villaggio's.

His Mediterranean styled cuisine also includes a southern influence and style (its where he grew up) and his dishes are prepared elegantly and flavorfully. Upon entering the first thing you see is the open kitchen with its wood burning oven and next to this is the extensive bar.

After a week of grouper and shrimp, a plate of beef carpaccio, pretty in pink and sliced paper thin, can seem heaven-sent. Garnished with arugula, grated Parmesan, and a sprinkle of capers, the appetizer at Villaggio Grille captures the restaurant’s bent toward Mediterranean dishes kissed by the seasons.

There are also a number of dinner options at the Wharf, like Mile Marker 158 Dockside and Villaggio Grille, where you can enjoy delicious cuisine and waterfront views. End the night with a walk down the boardwalk, taking in the twinkling lights and Gulf breeze as you reminisce on another perfect day.

Villaggio Grille, located at The Wharf entertainment complex, has some of the best Italian food in all of Alabama. If you choose to dine here, we recommend pairing some of their flavor-rich wines with their chicken scaloppini or veal marsala and then finish the evening with a delicious tiramisu.

The Villaggio Grille is located at The Wharf, an entertainment district located near the Alabama Coastline. Here you can find family entertainment, one of the largest ferris wheels in the southeast, and the best pork chop ever!

If you want to have a more upscale dining experience, then Villaggio Grille will fit the bill for you. We ate there on a date night and the food was phenomenal. It is very romantic here, especially if you go in the evenings.
