When it comes to places to eat, you can’t go wrong with well-established visitor favorites like Matsumoto Shave Ice or Kua ʻAina Burger. But, if you want to try something new, Seven Brothers (66-197 Kamehameha Hwy, 808-460-5751, sevenbrothersburgers.com) opened a Haleʻiwa location that is absolutely worth checking out. A longstanding Kahuku favorite that has begun expanding, Seven Brothers serves a variety of mouthwatering burgers such as the Deep Blue, which includes crumbled blue cheese melted on a patty topped with two crispy strips of bacon, Swiss cheese, barbecue sauce, Seven Brother’s house sauce and ranch.

For a low-key sit-down dining experience, Seven Brothers in Haleiwa serves up quality grindz (pidgin slang for good food). With multiple locations on the North Shore, the local company has taken over the area with restaurants from Kahuku to Haleiwa with its delicious burgers, shakes, and incredible service. This family business run by (you may have guessed) seven brothers opened their first location at the Kahuku Sugar Mill in 2009 and has seen well-earned success over the years.

With four locations on the North Shore (plus an additional six on the mainland), the Hannemann family has made their mark in the North Shore food industry. They’re known for their juicy burgers, swoon-worthy coconut chocolate chip banana bread, and friendly customer service. If you have your pick of locations, visit their Kahuku At The Mill location, their OG stomping grounds with their biggest menu (don’t sleep on the coconut macadamia shrimp!).

Holy hell does Seven Brothers know how to make a good burger!. Just a short drive from where we were staying in Laie, we decided to head here for a casual dinner our first night in the area. I had the scrumptious Country Veggie Burger with grilled pineapple, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, local greens and Swiss cheese.

Seven Brothers Burgers is one of the best places to eat in Oahu for delicious burgers. This family-owned burger joint specializes in burgers, onion rings, salads, and fries. I’m so bummed we didn’t know about Seven Brothers Burgers during our trip to Oahu, because the burgers look amazing!
