On May 29, 2021, Hersheypark got even sweeter with the long awaited opening of The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar and Patio. It features culinary masterpieces like chocolate bbq wings, cocoa dusted short ribs, chicken and waffles, filet mignon rubbed with coffee, and so much more. Make sure to save room for dessert because they are EPIC!

On our most recent visit we stopped at Hershey Chocolatetown which is their newest shopping and dining area. Open year round guests can dine at The Chocolatier enjoying some chocolate inspired dishes. The Chocolatier is inspired by the past and present of Hersheypark and you can see these pieces throughout the restaurant.

The Chocolatier, right outside the Hersheypark gate on the second floor of Hershey's Chocolatetown, is the best option.

Next one our list is a new addition to the park, The Hersheypark Chocolatier Restaurant!. This full service restaurant is located in Chocolatetown on the upstairs level of the Hersheypark Supply Co. Park Admission isn’t needed to dine here but a reservation is highly recommended.

There are tons of places to eat throughout the park, but we suggest making lunch or dinner reservations at The Chocolatier. The menu is infused with chocolate flavors, the seating is inspired by classic rides, and there’s an outdoor patio with a perfect view of the park.

Just like the name suggests, The Chocolatier is all about Hershey’s. Located at the park’s exit, above the gift shop, the newest dining addition to the Hershey complex impresses guests visually and gastronomically. Several booths are fashioned from old park rides.

Technically you drink this one but there is fruit in there to eat as well. As the name implies, this Sangria changes flavors depending on what is in season. I have tried three out of four seasons since the restaurant opened and you cannot go wrong with this one.

The restaurant features classic dishes including some with a hint of chocolate. There is even a roof-top patio. They also have Milton's Ice Cream Palor with many custom house-made ice cream and all the Hershey's candy toppings you could want.

Even when Hersheypark is closed, The Chocolatier Restaurant is still open and easily accessible. It’s located right outside Hersheypark’s gates. This is a great way to get a view of the park in the offseason and have a delicious meal.

At the Chocolatier Restaurant in Hershey’s Chocolatetown, you can dine on family fare with fun chocolate twists like the Chocolatetown Burger, featuring thick-cut bacon, smoked cheddar and Hershey’s chocolate-drizzled potato chips.

My criticism would be that, despite having a reservation first thing in the day, we had no say in selecting our seating. You MUST make a reservation ahead of time or you're looking at a 3+ hour wait or you will be turned away.
