It’s not like anyone needs an excuse to go to the iconic Duke’s Waikiki, which overlooks the famous beach, but its Hula Pie has become a favorite with locals and visitors. Duke’s is right on the beach with fun tiki vibes and great surf ‘n’ turf. Make yourself at home and experience a little bit of old Waikiki. Their buffet is very kid friendly and reasonably priced.

Named for the legendary Hawaiian surfer, Duke Kahanamoku, Duke’s Waikiki is a rite of passage for any first-time visitor to Oahu. Heck, I live here and I still go on a fairly regular basis.

For something on the lighter side, the chicken quesadilla is my first choice. The long, wooden bar is just steps from the beach and they have live music every Sunday afternoon.

Down the beach from the Mai Tai Bar and is considered a local classic. Expect live Hawaiian music every single evening from 4pm until midnight, cocktails are around $15 USD

Duke’s Waikiki, was my top pick known for its stunning vista surf ‘n’ turf, tiki vibe & umbrella drinks. Their avocado toast was delicious, as was the acai bowl.

Take her to the brunch buffet at Duke’s Waikiki to celebrate. Located right on the beach, it’s a beautiful place to toast to your future with champagne.

Located inside the Duke’s Lane market/food hall, I was beyond impressed with their brunch and can’t wait to go back for dinner/happy hour.

Duke’s is a tourist spot in Honolulu, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Their nachos were really good…and the views were great.
