"A local recommended the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing fusion food! Really enjoyed every dish (so much so I forgot to take a photo of the meatballs until toward the end!)
We didn’t need to wait for a table, all staff members were super friendly. Jill served us and was perfectly attentive and checked in the right amount.
The cocktails were delish too!
Would definitely return!"

"Delicious food served using a variety of recipes and ingredients from across multiple cultures and cuisines. A mixture of smaller tapas and larger plates, best served family style. Laid back atmosphere and reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes served."
Thomas Ford-Hutchinson
"What a wonderful and refreshing change from the 'usual' restaurants on Oahu.
As Europeans, we love creative cuisine and fusion kitchen - which we had been missing here in Honolulu so far - and luckily found it in 'Mud Hen Water'.
They serve lovely creative Asian combined with local style dishes, which are meant to be shared like Tapas. Every dish we ordered tasted wonderful.
We were having the Fried 'Ulu (which was replaced by a sweet potatoe that day), the Szechuan Lotus Root, Chicken Long Rice Croquettes and the Handcut Pasta and finished with the most amazing dessert: Kiawe Bean Bownie with Sesame Gelato....sooooo good.
The only thing we had been missing was a choice of non-alcoholic cocktails as we usually don't drink alcohol - and the cocktail menu sounded very promising.
Moreover, the service staff was very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be back for more."
