Northside Social, Petite Chou Bistro, and 317 BBQ are all good. Rise n Roll bakery is great for donuts and breakfast. Not many chain restaurants in Broad Ripple although Lou Malnatis is right there on the north side of the canal.

Located in the Broad Ripple district of Indianapolis, Petite Chou is a (literal) taste of the Left Bank in the Hoosier State. We enjoyed brunch at the cafe over the weekend, and I felt like I was back in Monmartre.
