What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is celebrated for its iconic Western atmosphere, particularly its unique saddle bar stools and lively entertainment. While many praise the authentic ambiance and enjoyable live music, some reviews note that food and drinks can be expensive with inconsistent quality, and service can be slow during busy periods.
"We visited this restaurant last night and I must say the experience was very positive. You can’t make reservations, but when we arrived, we had no trouble finding a table. The venue features four pool tables, providing a fun way to pass the time before or after dinner. There’s also a very distinctive wooden bar, decorated with antlers above it. The seating is designed like cowboy saddles, adding to the authentic Western atmosphere, which is mostly frequented by people dressed in cowboy attire.
As for the drinks, prices are slightly above average. When you head down to the actual dining area, the ambiance shifts dramatically, becoming much more elegant. Here too, prices are on the higher side, but they are fully justified by the excellent quality of the ingredients and the care put into both the presentation and the substance of the dishes. Both visually and in terms of flavor, the food was outstanding.
For the first time since arriving in the United States, I can honestly say I ate exceptionally well: they truly know how to cook. I had a duck filet with blueberry sauce, while my dining companions chose steaks, which were also of excellent quality.
The wine list is quite good, offering a selection of Italian and French wines. Although the prices are a bit steep—likely influenced by recent political tariffs—the quality of the wine was excellent.
In conclusion, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily return."

"Okay well obviously taking photos outside is a must. Walking out of the bar and onto the streets to see fireworks was beautiful BUT no one really wants to serve you. Seems like they’re just trying to push you away from the bar instead of keeping a tab open for the night. I had this happen with 2 different bartenders.
They do know how to make their drinks strong though. Super super packed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is not into that scene. The dance floor is too small and honestly I wish they had a mechanical bull."
Abigail Ramirez
"Our first time in Wyoming—and this place was everything we didn’t even know we were looking for. We came to the steakhouse after a full day of hiking and ordered the bison ribeye and elk tenderloin. Both were absolutely phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The entire meal was top-notch, and the service was just as impressive.
And then there’s the bar… KYLE the bartender is Wyoming. Friendly, laid-back, and full of character—he completely embodied the spirit of the state. Between the food, the people, and the atmosphere, we’ve completely fallen in love with Wyoming. Truly a 5-star experience all around."
