Reviews Summary

Picnic is praised for its stylish ambiance, friendly service, and delicious food, particularly its pastries and brunch items like the breakfast burrito and avocado toast. However, some diners found it to be overpriced and noted that pastries are not heated, with occasional issues with matcha drink consistency and table proximity.

"Cute place with good coffee and bakery items. It seems like the owner is the same with Persophone Bakery that is 5min away (by car) cause bakery items looked about the same and, most importantly, take-out
bag for a bakery item literally said Persophone on it.

However, dining in menu seemed little different. I had Breakfast Burrito from here and I don’t think that’s available at Persophone Bakery. From flavor perspective, the burrito was amazing; filled with sausage and eggs covered with slightly spicy sauce and beans. However, I don’t think I would have the burrito again cause I’m quite obssesed about having burrito/sandwich/burger as a hand-held food. And burrito here was impossible to do that cause it was covered by ample amount of sauce.

Overall quality of their foods and drinks were amazing, so I’d love to visit again if next chance."

"Probably one of the best ratio between how good the food looks and how mid it was. Everything looks amazing but the taste just was not great. Also we found it to be overpriced. $7 for a side of 2 strips of bacon is just too much (see picture). They can’t heat any of the pastries and they charge for a coffee refill even though the provided cups are rather small. Little bit of a let down based on reviews."

Amnon Nachshon

"It's refreshing when a cafe gets all the basics right and delivers a great experience. The bread for the toast was local made, the egg souffle was perfection, the jam was tasty and local? It's been a decade since I ate toast and jam yet here I am recommending it the pepper bacon was well prepared and delicious.

The coffee was also excellent."

Top 5 Coffee Shops in Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Picnic’s stunning design elements pay tribute to the personality and peace of the Tetons by channeling the worn leather of saddles, faded denim of the JH uniform, and splintered beauty of fallen timber. Mix in some modern architectural notes, natural sunlight, and an abundance of seating arrangements and you have one exceptional work environment that’s an easy go-to for daytime meetings with colleagues, long overdue coffee dates, or solo study sessions. Should you meander on in at the tail end of an adventurous day in the wilderness, feel free to take a load off with a crisp craft beer or glass of wine.

Persephone and Picnic are owned by the same people so everything is the same except the environment. The downtown Persephone gets slammed and I avoid it at all costs, but the West Bank is usually very chill. Picnic has the least attractive environment but it is usually the most mellow.
