What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bowl of Pho is celebrated for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine, particularly its flavorful pho and generous portions. Diners often praise the inviting atmosphere and quick service. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality and less-than-stellar service experiences, with one diner finding a foreign object in their soup and another experiencing rudeness from a server.
"The other day was my first visit to this location with my Mother and Grandmother and the food was absolutely superb! From the hot tea, spring rolls/ apps, and classic Phò soup, it was nothing short of excellent. It reminded me of my childhood days when I first experienced this cuisine.
Our server Brandon was very personable, professional and attentive. Over all 10 stars if that was an option. We will be going to this location every time I come to visit family as I am from Melbourne.
Thank you all for being so authentic and having excellent service and again amazing food! Many more memories to be made!
Highly recommend visiting this location as soon as possible!"

"The restaurant was okay. The Thai tea they served us had no sugar in it, which was disappointing since Thai tea is supposed to be sweet. However, this one was extremely bitter. The pho itself was average but not authentic.
What struck me as odd was that water wasn't served to us at the beginning of the meal, which is typically the first thing you're supposed to do.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend ordering the Thai tea, even though we got it replaced. The flavor was strangely bitter and unpleasant."

"I had a very unpleasant and concerning experience here. While eating pho, I found a chewed piece of green gum — or something that looked exactly like it — in my bowl.
This was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I took pictures and kept the item, just in case.
Food safety is no joke. This completely ruined my meal and made me feel sick. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and investigates how such a thing could happen."

Best in Jax 2015
Few things are as satisfying as an enormous bowl of pho, a Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, noodles, herbs and meat. Though there are a handful of pho eateries around town, Bowl of Pho takes top honors in our poll, thanks to their delicious broths and plenty of accoutrements, including fresh limes, Thai basil, bean sprouts and jalapeño (because the fun thing about pho is adding to it). The bbq pork pho is an especially popular choice.
