What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Crow's Nest is praised for its creative breakfast and brunch options, generous portions, and friendly service, especially noted for its vegan choices and unique French toast flavors. However, some diners find the prices steep for the quality, and a few have experienced issues with food preparation and an added surcharge.
"What a cool place upstairs. Service was awesome. And breakfast was great. I got the Saturday detention. It reminded me of all the days I had detention in middle school. I still turned out okay and feel like my breakfast was a good decision. So chalk that one up for another win in life."
Doug Morosky
"A delightful experience at The Crow's Nest in Kalamazoo!
I ordered the Sailor’s Delight potato bowl, which was a flavorful mix of crispy potatoes, perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and a generous helping of spicy vegetables absolutely delicious! The coffee was rich and satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout.
The atmosphere was another highlight lots of natural light pouring in from the windows, and the charming historical architecture gave the place a cozy, welcoming feel. A wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommend!"

"This breakfast joint was wonderful. It’s a hole in the wall and definitely worth your time. Their selection is wide and delicious. They have a ton of unique items and in-hour coffee brews and fresh bread. All dishes are about $15/person and massive portions. We took most of our food home and we are dedicated foodies. Make the stop!"
