"Atmosphere – 5 stars
Located in the Salmon Landing Market right in the heart of the tourist area, this spot has an easygoing, casual vibe with warm nautical decor. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and we were able to get a table right away. The space was very clean and inviting — a great place to relax and enjoy fresh Alaskan seafood.
Service – 5 stars
Our server, Tiffany, was absolutely fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Excellent, attentive service from start to finish.
Food – 5 stars
Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side — but completely worth it. We had the best King Crab we’ve ever tasted, along with halibut fish and chips that were cooked to perfection. The clam chowder was rich and flavorful. When in Alaska, you’ve got to treat yourself, and this is the place to do it. Don’t skip the King Crab legs — they’re a must!"
Honest Reviews
"We stopped in this town during our Alaska cruise, and after walking around and exploring, most of the food spots felt a little too touristy. Then we stumbled upon this place—and I’m so glad we did.
Our bartender took the time to explain the menu and how the food is sourced, which was impressive. The rest of the staff was just as welcoming and informative. It felt genuine—unlike a lot of other places that just try to move you along.
The atmosphere was great, with beautiful views. The clam chowder bread bowl was one of the best we had on the entire trip. But if there’s one thing you have to try, it’s the halibut fish and chips—hands down some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world.
I can’t wait to come back to this town and enjoy a long, relaxed meal here again."

"All of the staff was attentive but Rochelle was the best. She gave suggestions, gave us the background of the restaurant, and answered any and all of our questions.
The red king crab was succulent and so flavorful even though is served chilled. The crab fries are pricey but so worth it and much better than Maryland's crab fries."

If you have no other way of chasing whales, including humpback whales and orcas, during your time in Alaska, an excursion with Allen Marine Tours is particularly a good thing to do. If you've already seen whales, bald eagles, sea otters, and sea lions, prioritize other unique tours we mentioned over this option. We wanted to take an excursion with this company because the families who own the small cruise company we traveled through the Inside Passage with own the tour company.
