"Stayed in Sheraton Kauai Resort, had breakfast in this restaurant every morning of my family stay. The restaurant is sitting on a beautiful beach. The French toast and American breakfast are all very good. However, my server Amado on the first morning was terrible. He rushed us to order, and when asked about the ingredients of the food (allergy issues), he was very impatient and wondered why I asked. He never offered juice, only coffee or water, until my family asked him if juices were available. He has never came back to my table and provided the routine check if we need anything else, or provided refill my water or juice. The very next time he shown up was to put the bill on the table, which he had also provided to another couple who were still eating. Amado is the worst restaurant server I have ever met in my visits to 4 Hawai’i islands and not sure if he really hates his job. For the subsequent morning breakfasts, I made sure to tell the front receptionist not to get me a table served by Amado. All the other servers however, were very friendly and attentive, in particular, John is exceptional. They (and the food) made my start of the day wonderful on Kauai."
