Reviews Summary
Ridge Terrace Restaurant offers a charming, old-school dining experience with a focus on classic continental cuisine and a cozy Adirondack atmosphere. While many praise the quality of food, especially steaks, and the attentive service, some reviews highlight inconsistencies in food preparation and occasional service shortcomings that detract from the overall experience. It remains a popular choice for special occasions and those seeking a nostalgic dining trip.
"The Ridge Terrace is hands down my favorite restaurant of all time. I've been enjoying meals there since my first trip to Lake George in 2011 and I've never not made room in the trip for a dinner at the Terrace ... once I went twice on a long weekend trip to the area.
I haven't strayed far from the first thing I ever tried there in 2011, but that's because I've never found it served anywhere else and it's that damn good, that being the Filet Mignon Cordon Bleu Au Champignon. Incredible. The Kidney Bean Salad and a Caesar salad to start the meal round out my favorite meal around. As a pretty talented home chef myself, I've worked out how I could go about replicating the meal in my own kitchen, but I just can't bring myself to do it, I'll leave it to the pros at The Ridge Terrace, it makes the meal that much more special every time I get to have it again."

"An old school restaurant and tavern that has been operating for over 60 years! The decor hasn't changed in years but they make up for it in amazing food. The Clams Casino and Baked Havarti are excellent starters. The provided bread is like a mini loaf of Parker House Rolls. I highly recommend the Veal Elder. An wonderfully rich meal without being heavy. All entries comes with a potato side, a side salad, as well as a relish side."

"Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. It was our 1st there. Made a reservation a week earlier. Busy place. Great log cabin look inside. Friendly staff. Our waitress Daniel was great. Good menu. Lots to pick from. It is expensive but the the dishes are of quality."
