"The food was really good and reasonably priced. I’d say cheap but I don’t want to convey the wrong message. The fried pickles were great, the burgers and fries were amazing. I’ve driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop. My girlfriend and I wanted to try somewhere neither of us had been. So glad she suggested it. Also picked up a couple of glasses of theirs. Definitely a return visit is needed. It is the quintessential corner bar. The place was busy when we were there but the wait for order and drinks wasn’t long."

"Dagwood is a great little community bar with a great reputation. Things I liked and believe you will too: decent size parking lot, burger and app prices that are cheeper than McDonalds a burger for less than $5 is what makes America great!, bathrooms that for a bar are surprisingly clean, generally quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. Things I didn't like and why I give it a 4 out of 5: When I came in there was no seat yourself sign so I stood there waiting like an idiot until I asked a staffer and second it is a bit dark for old eyes. I suggest some candles or table lighting. I will say my favorite appetizer so far though I wished there were more in the basket was the cheese sticks."
