"Toscana is a new spot in Lansing, Ml, and it's definitely worth checking out! The vibe is super classy, and the food? So good—I wasn't disappointed at all with the spaghetti and meatballs, but the Chicken Marsala tasted a little oily. I also tried the raspberry lemon drop, and it was delicious. Everything about this place felt upscale but still comfortable. If you're in the area, give it a try and let me know what you think!"

"Fabulous formal fine dining for our family with two teens, 13 & 15. They were the only "kids" there, but respected the same as any other. Pleasant and peaceful ambiance. Perfect lighting, not too dark, not too bright. Quality food, preparation, presentation and flavors. Even better service. Caitlin H was attentive, kind, pleasant, respectful, friendly, and a perfect server to compliment the fine dining and classy experience Tuscana Kitchen and Wine Market offers.
Calm noise level, even as we were leaving and the restaurant was full. No rushing or scurrying during their busiest time, with an unwaivering pleasant atmosphere and ambiance.

I promise to make a return visit to see if the restaurant has ironed out its issues, but in the meantime, I wonder if the timing of the voting and the summer arrival of Toscana was a factor in the Italian cucina not making the top three. I also already wrote about my regard for Lansing Shuffle, and frankly, I would put it first if for nothing more than the diversity of divine flavors inside and the excitement it’s garnered as a new gathering place.
